Ukraine beat North Macedonia!!
Having fought back from two goals down before ultimately losing 3-2 to the Netherlands on Sunday. Andriy Shevchenko’s side ended a run of six successive European Championship defeats to remain in contention in Group C.
Ukraine’s national football team beat North Macedonia with two goals to one.
The match that brought the two teams together today in the second round of Group C in the Euro 2020 championship.
Andrey Yarmelenko took the lead in the 29th minute of the first half.
Before Roman Yarimchuk added the second goal in the 34th minute.
Ezjian Alyoski reduced the score for the Macedonian team in the 57th minute of the match.
Malinovsky missed a penalty kick for the Ukrainian team in the 84th minute, and the Macedonian goalkeeper saved it.

After their debut in a major tournament ended with a 3-1 defeat to Austria. North Macedonia will be eliminated if the Netherlands avoid defeat to Austria later on Thursday (20:00 GMT).

Ukraine meets Austria and North Macedonia meets the Netherlands in the last round of Group C matches. Both matches will be played on Monday at 17:00.
