Most important five matches this week. The majority of the games were held behind closed doors, making for an unusual season. And it’s about to come to an end after several months of hard effort.

The final round of games in the main European leagues will play this weekend, and there is still a lot to play.

There are still two championship races, several Champions League positions, and even some relegation spots to decided. It’s shaping up to be a thrilling football weekend.

This weekend, there are five games to see from Europe’s top five leagues.

Premier League – Leicester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Since the start of the season, Leicester City had been in the top four. Liverpool’s upturn in form, along with losses to Newcastle United and Chelsea, has dropped them to fifth place heading into the final day.

The Foxes have one final chance to qualify for the Champions League next season, and a win at Tottenham Hotspur will almost certainly be required. Even then, they’ll need other outcomes to favor them.

Spurs, who were previously considered title contenders, are currently in seventh place on the Premier League rankings.

Europa League football isn’t entirely out of the question, but they’d need Southampton’s help.

A win would secure their spot in the inaugural Europa Conference League the following year. On the other hand, Dropped points will allow Everton and Arsenal to overtake them at the final hurdle.

It may be Harry Kane’s final game in a Tottenham shirt if rumors are to believe. He’ll be looking for a goal or two on his way out to win his third Premier League Golden Boot.

Only one of the 115 encounters between the two teams has ended without a goal. Most important five matches this week.

When these two teams met on matchday 38, Tottenham came out on top 5-4. Another goal-fest is possible.

La Liga – Atletico Madrid vs Real Valladolid

In recent weeks, the La Liga title chase has been intriguing. Atletico Madrid was ten points clear at the top of La Liga with a game in hand at the start of February, but a string of poor defeats saw them lose the title.

However, the surprises kept coming, with Barcelona and Real Madrid surrendering points in games they were expected to win.

Now, heading into the final game, Diego Simeone’s team knows that a win will give them their first trophy since 2014.

But only a victory will suffice. With a win over Villarreal at the end of the season, Madrid can grab the title with a draw or loss – a game they should not take lightly. Most important five matches this week.

Los Rojiblancos face Real Valladolid, who need three points to keep their relegation prospects alive. For this game, they’ll just as fired up as their opponents.

It bears echoes of Manchester City’s 2012 match against Queens Park Rangers. We’re in for a tremendous treat if it’s even half as dramatic.

Serie A – Atalanta vs AC Milan

Juventus’ domination has finally shattered after nine consecutive league victories. They’ve not only missed out on the first place, but they’re also in danger of missing out on the Champions League altogether.

With a win over Bologna, Andrea Pirlo’s side can leapfrog Napoli and AC Milan to take fifth place in Serie A. Napoli takes on Verona, a team that you would expect to win.

On the other hand, Milan must travel to Atalanta, who are now in the second position. Last time out, the Rossoneri had an opportunity to clinch a top-four spot but drew 0-0 with Cagliari. They now have to face a team that has only lost one of their last 17 league games.

If there’s one thing you should know about Atalanta, it’s that they score goals a lot. La Dea has scored 90 goals in the league this season, which is second only to Bayern Munich in Europe’s top five leagues.

Ligue 1 – Brest vs Paris Saint-Germain

Many anticipated Mauricio Pochettino to finally win the first major trophy of his managerial career when he arrived in Paris in January. And he did it by defeating Monaco in the final of the Coupe de France.

However, this may not be enough to keep him in the job, as PSG appears to be on the verge of losing the Ligue 1 title for the second time in nine years.

They are one point behind Ligue 1 leaders Lille, who need to beat mid-table Angers to secure first place.

If they make a mistake, Pochettino’s side will have a chance to win the tournament on the last day against Brest.

This game, however, has an impact not simply at the top. Although Dijon and Nimes have already demoted, there is still one more relegation play-off berth available, with SIX teams in contention.

Brest is smack dab in the thick of it. They will be in the relegation play-off if they lose and both Lorient and Nantes win. Meanwhile, Reims, Bordeaux, and Strasbourg are all in danger of being relegated this season.

Bundesliga – Borussia Dortmund vs Bayer Leverkusen

With all of the action taking place around Europe, the Bundesliga feels a little left out. Of course, Bayern Munich leads the Bundesliga table by 10 points, with RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Wolfsburg rounding out the top four.

With no other team within five Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen points, they have clinched fifth and sixth places, respectively.

Cologne, Werder Bremen, and Arminia Bielefeld are still fighting for survival at the bottom of the table. But, in the end, it all comes to a peaceful conclusion.

If you want to see history made, you should probably watch Bayern Munich vs. Augsburg.

Robert Lewandowski only needs one goal to equal Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record for most goals scored in a single season.

On the other hand, Dortmund vs. Leverkusen is the game to watch if you like a more equally matched battle. Two of the division’s top six teams finish the season with a match that might be entertaining.

The hosts have scored 23 goals in their last seven games in all competitions. It should be an interesting encounter with Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in top form. Most important five matches this week.
