Juventus’ dominance was not rewarded as Torino won a point in the 2-2 draw.
Juventus got off to a strong start, and Cristiano Ronaldo had a great chance early on when he went down to Federico Chiesa, but he shot off-balance and wide.
Shortly after, the Italian puts things right by playing the ball into Alvaro Morata and sprinting forwards towards goal, where he receives the one-two and takes the ball past the defenders and into the box before nutmegging the goalkeeper.
However, our lead was short-lived as Tony Sanabria jumped into the box on the loose ball after Wojciech Szczesny struggled to hold onto the ball while diving low to save.
We went into the halftime break disappointed, thinking we had the best chances of winning the game, but things only got worse after the restart.
Sanabria took advantage of another error, this time by Dejan Kulusevski, whose failed pass was latched onto by Sanabria, who ran in behind the defense and scored, despite Szczesny’s best efforts.
We tried to strike in numbers, and the home team was encouraging us to do so, and we seemed to be on our way to claiming all three points after scoring late in the game.
With just over 10 minutes left on the clock, Cristiano Ronald made it 2-2 by latching onto Chiellini’s attempt, and it was all one-way traffic from there.
However, with the game ending 2-2, all eyes will be on Andrea Pirlo, with rumours saying that his work is in jeopardy. They are currently fourth in the league and are in danger of losing out on the Champions League, which will not be enough.
Would Pirlo be fired in order to guarantee a place in the Champions League?
