Although there have been no positive steps yet, Inter Milan has not given up
on its dream of joining Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.
President Stephen Zhang wants to research the costs of making that deal
and is looking for suitable sponsors from China to help fund it.
And the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport indicated today, Friday,
that Manchester City is the former leader and is in a stronger position than others to join the Barcelona legend this summer.
Inter’s way to get Messi
But Inter may say his word and lure the player, especially since the new tax system in Italy will be special for him to pay lower taxes.
The newspaper indicated that the tax reduction and the provision of a lot of things would be a helpful reason for Inter in its negotiations with Lionel Messi,
adding that Zhang had already started talking with sponsors from China and planning for that step.
