Real Madrid announced the injury of Alvaro Odriozola, the right-back of the royal club,
in bad news for the French coach Zinedine Zidane,
after receiving yesterday the news of the injury of Spaniard Dani Carvajal in the collateral ligament of the right knee,
and he will be absent for two months.
On Saturday morning, Marinji revealed a new injury in his ranks, represented by Odriozola,
and he will miss the Levante match that will take place on Sunday in the fourth round of the Spanish League Championship.
The royal club published an official statement on its Twitter account, saying:
“After the tests conducted today on our player, Alvaro Odriozola,
by the medical devices of Real Madrid, it was found that the player suffers from an injury in his left leg,
and his return will depend on the developments of his recovery.”
Odriozola’s injury is the fourth for the Royal Club in just one week after Carvajal was injured,
and before him, Belgian star Eden Hazard, Militao, and Mariano Diaz.
Odrizola is expected to be absent from a week to 10 days, so he will not be available until the Cadiz match.
Odrizola returned this summer from his loan to Bayern Munich and participated last Wednesday against Valladolid at Valdebias Stadium.
After Carvajal was injured, all things indicated that he would get more minutes because the latter was absent for up to two months,
meaning he would not participate in the El Clasico match. The first two matches of the Champions League,
but things have changed now that he is injured too.
And now Zidane has become in a complicated situation because he lost the services of his players in the right-back position,
so he will have to act in finding a player to participate in this side,
in the absence of any specialized player for this place,
and the French will choose between Lucas Vásquez or Nacho, and perhaps Mendy,
who He participated in this position during the Eibar match.
