The European League draw … easy confrontations for Arsenal and Tottenham, and a difficult test for Milan


The European Football Confederation (UEFA) announced the results of the draw for the group stage of the European League, which resulted in easy matches for most of the top competition.

The lottery was withdrawn, today, Friday, behind closed doors, at the Federation’s headquarters in the Swiss city of Nyon, due to the state of social distancing in Europe due to the Coronavirus.

The draw resulted in easy groups for Napoli, Arsenal, and Tottenham, while Milan, Italy, fell in the toughest group ever.

Together, we review all groups as follows.

1 ST Group: Roma, Young Boys, Cluj, and CSKA Sofia.
Two: Arsenal, Rapid Vienna, Molde, and Dundalk.

Third: Leverkusen, Slavia Prague, Hapoel Haifa and Nice.

Fourth: Benfica, Standard League, Rangers and Lech Poznan.

Fifth: Eindhoven, PAUK, Granada and Omonia.

Sixth: Naples, Real Sociedad, Alkmaar and Rijeka.

Seventh: Sporting Braga, Leicester, AEK Athens, and Zorya Luhansk.

Eighth: Celtic, Sparta Prague, Milan, and Lille, France.

Ninth: Villarreal, Karabag, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Sivaspur.

10th: Tottenham, Ludogorets, Lusk, and Royal Antwerp.

Eleventh: CSKA Moscow, Dynamo Zagreb, Feyenoord and Austrian Wolfsberger.

Twelfth: Gent, Red Star Belgrade, Hoffenheim and Slovan Liberec.

The group stage competitions for the new edition of the 2020/2021 tournament will begin on October 22nd, while the stage will fully end on December 10.
