Ronaldo Coman, the new Barcelona coach, praised his player
Ansu Fati and praised the team’s performance as a whole during the match
that ended with Barcelona’s 4-0 victory over Villarreal in the third phase of the Spanish League.
Koeman made a successful start in Barcelona coaching,
as the team won its first match in the new season of the Spanish League,
after it was decided to postpone his first two matches to give the team a
chance to rest after the late end of his Champions League campaign last August.
Ansu Fati played the championship role in yesterday’s match,
scoring the first and second goals in minutes 15 and 19, and got a penalty kick from which Argentine star Lionel Messi scored the third goal in the 35th minute, before Villarreal’s Pau Torres scored a goal by mistake against his team in the last seconds of first half.
After the match, Koeman said, “Ansu has a great future at this club. I spoke to him because he needed to perform consistently, and he did not show his best form in the last pre-season match.”
“But he showed his best form tonight. I’m happy with the performance, especially the moves on the field during the first half,” he added.
