Real Madrid withdrew No. 11 in the ranks of his team from Welshman Gareth Bale,
and awarded him to his colleague Marco Asensio, although Bale’s transfer to Tottenham Hotspur has not been officially completed yet.
The official website of the Spanish League “La Liga” showed Asensio’s name in the Real Madrid list,
accompanied by the number 11, before the start of Real Madrid’s campaign in the Spanish first division on Sunday.
The relationship of the Welsh star with his club has been characterized by tension during the last two seasons,
after he left the accounts of his French coach Zinedine Zidane, which prompted him to accept a loan exit to his former English club,
but Tottenham has not officially announced the contract yet.
Bale arrived in the English capital, London, on Friday, with his former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Regilon,
who in turn is on the cusp of joining Tottenham Hotspur, in a deal that British reports valued at 30 million euros.
And Real Madrid’s list on the La Liga website also saw the appearance of the name Regilon,
who was loaned by Seville last season, without a number, in light of his imminent transfer to the English capital’s team.
Real Madrid will open its career in the new season, facing Real Sociedad, at nine o’clock in the evening,
Sunday, at the Anoita Stadium, at the end of the second round of the life of the Spanish First Division.
